it´s SO fun working here!
but now i´m done...
when i got back from the jungle, we all moved from the cave into apartments because the owners moved to cotopaxi. did i already write that before? not sure, but anyway, the volunteers got to live in an apt with windows!! lucky us. and i got to hang out with the two best girls in all the land, emily and erica. we bonded real quick which is rare. especially since most of the bonding came when we had to join forces against evil ecuatorianas and traveling wenches. hehe. no but really, i´m happy i met some good girls here. emily is an artsy lover from louisiana who lived in alaska for a bit, n traveled down the west coast to live in oregon for a while. then to venezuela then columbia, lost a bunch of money, then started volunteering at the hostel. erica is traveling with bff josh, both from brisbane australia. and they are two rockin mates, let me tell you. erica, so so sweet so funny. josh sometimes makes me almost pee. BUT they left last week. off to other adventures. it´s hard leaving that place. but now i´m off to the galapagos...??? yeah baby. show me those blue footed boobies, iguanas and gigantic tortugas.
ok short but just felt like telling everyone i´m having a grand time.
OH and all last week i took my FREE spanish lessons and my teacher was the freakin best ever. she´s so so sweet and funny and we would just talk and talk for 2 or 3 hours. and we went to a couple museums and out to lunch and i discovered a little bit how to express myself in spanish. pretty pretty cool. i like it here. 2 more weeks...
