Hey guys and gals, I hope you are all good and have missed us emmencly since we left the UK (or China).
Anyways just a quick note to let you know what we have been upto (and to make you extremely jealous).
Ove the last week or so we have been to Bangkok which is the most crazy city I have ever been too, so much going on and fantastic shopping (all of which is really cheap). We arrive around 10pm last sunday evening after a torturous journey over the border from Cambodia, not only was the bus majorly late but the dirt track we where driving on was full of pot holes it made driving almost impossibel. In addition to this Tessa fell off the bus and sprained her ankle meaning I had to carry her bags across the border and when we got to Bangkok (what a saint am I???). Anyway like I said we arrived in Bangkok really late without anywhere to stay and my first thoughts wherw WOW, this place is crazy. AFter half an hour of walking round Ko San road looking for somewhere to stay we found a clean air conditioned room right in the center of town. We dropped off our bags and headed out to see what was going on (it was madness - the thing I found most bizarre where the lady boys, some f which it was really hard to tell what sex they where). Anyway we spent two days in Bangkok shopping and sight seeing and then decided to get another bus down to Phuket. Again the bus journey was horrible and delayed and for this reason we didnt have mch of the day left in Phuket (it didnt matter anyway coz Phuket was not very nice). The next day we promptly left for Koh Phi Phi where we spent three days sun worshipping and snorkelling in the amazing reef life on Koh Phi Phi Lay (the island where the beach was filmed). After this we headed for Koh Lanta (where we are now) and have spent all today riding round the island on our little scooter and trekking to a waterfall in the middle of the forest. Although the waterfall had dried up the jungle/forest was emmence.
