So we were off to the highlands of scotland. We picked the hired car up at the airport in aberdeen. So we arrived with an english car, were we have to drive left in the middle of the busy traffic at the airport. I was so scared of having an accident...
Our first stop we made at drum castle, beautifull castle but unfortunately closed. Suddenly my friend tells me he's not feeling well. I saw my beautifull trip disappear...
So we drove allong and made a stop for the typical tea with scones. I'm that was heavenly... At the end of the we arrived in Ballater. A lovely little village. The first thing what you see when entering Ballater is a hotel. But next to the hotel there is the best Bed and braekfast I've ever known on my trip to scotland. The rooms were so cosy and the owners were so friendly. That night we ate in an italian restaurant near the Bed and breakfast, and had a great time over there...
