Evreux Day 4
Today was spent visiting out beautiful host city Evreux. The students went along a circuit around town explaining various points of interest and the history of Evreux. Students were divided in 3 teams and one team nearly completed the entire route. The Amazing Race in Evreux! With so much walking we all had developed quite an appetite and went for a typical Normandy meal at the Cental Bar. On the menu, veal Normandy style with mushroom sauce, pasta, roasted potatoes, shredded carrots and salad. We had various drinks from diabolo menthe, diabolo cerise, café crème to coca. Many desserts were enjoyed including glace café, gateau au chocolat, crème brulé and mousse au chocolat.
After lunch the students were met by their French friends for an afternoon of shopping. Many students, French and American were already feeling sad anticipating the departure tomorrow. Au revoir Evreux et merci mille fois!
