Saturday morning in Evreux is a real French gastronomic experience. This morning, Mme Garceau and her husband David, went for a walk and were very excited to come across the Saturday morning market just a few block from their hotel. It was amazing to see not only the stunning array of beautiful ingredients available but watching the people purchasing their ingredients for what we can only imagine as gourmet meals for tonight.
Then Chantal and David visited a local bakery and purchase a slice of quiche, a salami baguette sandwich, an apricot tart and a rhubarb tart for a casual picnic by the local river. Delicieux!
