I made it to Sihanoukville yesterday and was very fortunate to find a great room first thing. I like the pace here and the beaches are rather unpopulated (compared to Thailand) so I'm thinking about kicking around for a few more days. Prices are good, the food is great, and there are a rather large number of tours to choose from. The locals are quite friendly, though the ugly sex industry is a very much in-your-face affair. The poverty here is also sadly widespread. I don't have much time, so I'll write more later. I think Kampot will be my next stop. - tanner
