Viang Vieng

This was another small village more like one big street really.Every we went here the bars and restaurants were playing either a film or friends which although was nice it is just somewhere for a quickstop. Our main reason for coming here was to go tubing which basically means jumping in a large inflatable tube and floating down the river for about three hours getting pulled in by various bars along the way.We were unable to do this because more stomach was really playing up so there was no chance of doing it,and we didn't have enough time to wait. The weather wasn't that great so we were too bothered.Again we kept bumo=ping into to people even from the start of our trip 2 weeks before right in the north of Laos.We did treat ourselves to having a tele in the room though, the first time for nearly 2 months. This was a real treat being able to watch T.V in the morning i can tell you.

Next entry: Visa stop
