Well, I made it to Mexico. My luggage on the other hand has yet to show up. I missed a connection in Houston due to a gate change, so I had to fly a different airline from LA to La Paz. Thankfully, with a lot of running through airports and some very helpful individuals I made it! There are a total of eighteen students, seventeen girls and one boy. We spent the night in La Paz, and today we drove about 4 hours to Puerto San Carlos, the location of the Center for Coastal Studies (the research station that we will be staying at). We ate fish tacos for lunch. They were delicious! The center is lovely and the weather is wonderful as well!
