So I pick up the phone this morning and its none other than Joseph Marino, President of DC Power Systems in Northern California. He is interested in our Solar Project in Nueva Vida. I would back that up, but you can read all about it on http://mycorset.com. He (and as of this afternoon, I as well) is embarking on an adventure with Phillip Beard, retired professor and long time humanitarian in Nicaragua, and Douglas Gonzalez of Suni Solar, Managua (and whomever else we manage to pick up) to visit the project that he has already completed in Mulukuku. Dorothy Granada helped initiate a free women's medical clinic in Mulukuku and Joseph and company helped see the project to fruition. We will take a look at the potential of wind power in Puerta Cabezas, as well as see completed and future solar hydro-pump projects by Groupo Fenix. I name drop because these are all very worthy reads if you search them in Google. The first stop, to my delight, is our women's cooperative in Nueva Vida (I say *our* just to distinguish, I am simply a client of theirs trying to head this project for their community's benefit) to take a look at their specific solar needs. So, after this innocent phone call and with 30 hours to pack, I am off! To Nicaragua! Towanda!!
