Well, to get back to Tena, obv we had to pass thru Guayaquil again. We got there only to find the next bus back to Tena wasnt til 10pm an it ws 430pm, which means I cant teach tomorrow, though since the teachers have been strikin all last week, there might not be lessons anyway! So Mely went bak to Quito an Helen 2, Paulo an I went to the Malecón 2000. A malecón is a riverside park an this one is really cool with little shopping malls, amazin views of the river and city, monuments to people who´ve made a contribution to the city etc. It´s been quite nice to see a little of the biggest city in Ecuador, tho obv would´ve been good to get bak to Tena in time for school tomorrow!
Next weekend, we´re plannin on goin to Cuenca to meet Claire an her friend from London, Karen as they will be there on their travels down to Perú.
