Greece... we spent all of 25 hours in Thessaloniki, but it was full of great food (pork was the meat of choice, straight away!) and MILD weather (hahaha- I got made fun of for saying that). We saw a few museums, tasted a bit of the local brew, and walked around A LOT. Before we left on this trip, I was studying a bit of the Cryllic alphabet for our time in Bulgaria, so as a joke when we showed up in Greece, I asked Cory if he had done his share and learned the Greek alphabet.... he laughed, then it clicked for both of us... being the good frat boy he is, he DID know it! So that pretty much rocked- having someone who could decipher signs, menus, train timetables, etc. So after a whirlwind tour, we got back on the train and headed overnight to Sofia....
