|  | | Lake Yojoa | | | | | Lake Yoja is a large lake that measures 8 km by 16 km. It is located in two departments of Cortes and Santa Barbara. 407 species of birds of which 55 percent is there at Lake Yoja. There are 15 differnt plants that are only found there at this lake and no other place in the world.
There are 46 different varieties of Orchids there.
You will see the second highest mountain in Honduras with an elevation of 2,744 meters above sea level.
This is by far my most favorite place in all of Honduras. Lake Yojoa.
