We`re in Bali now and thought after all the touts that we had trying to get us on buses in Borneo, that there could be no match, well weren`t we mistaken, instead the touts are after either taxi fares( which by the way i don`t think i`ve ever seen so many taxi`s in my life in one small place such as this) or trying to sell magic mushrooms and such on the street, theres also so many street venders selling cheap coppied clothes.
We had our first day on kuta beach the other day, and after just 15 minutes watching all the surfers, i couldn`t resist but to have a go myself. I don`t think i came out the water for about 3 hours, Jan had a body board but spent most of the time laughin at me trying my hardest to catch, just 1 wave. By the end i`d been up very briefly afew times, it was so much fun, i think it`s safe to save i`ve just found a new hobby. We both were wearing alot of sun cream that day but still got really burnt.
We found some great hotels with pool and breakfast for 7 quid a night for the pair of us it`s ridiculous (but we`re lovin it). We`ve had 3 days here but we`re heading up to Ubud for afew days then comin back for afew days before we go.
