Today we woke up at 7:30 to leave to Whitianga ( pronounced fitianga) about 3 hours out of Auckland. Traveling here we passed mile after mile of green mountains towering and sometimes passing through the cloud. Breathtaking. Unfortunately i lost the cord to connect my camera to the computer so i can't upload any pictures :(
On the way we stopped over at hot water beach, where you can dig holes and this hot water comes out from the ground, it's like having a spa on a beach in front of lots of other nude people :)
Jenni and I on the other hand opted for a more adventurous and conservative option, and instead chose to hike into a nearby mountain and look down on the surrounding beach whilst listening to our ipods and sitting in trees.
Overall a very fun day and tomorrow we are off to Rotorua, were we are going to go to HOBBITON!!!!!!! most excited.
