I've sent an email to another volunteer organization--a little more touristy--but have yet to receive word from them either. For now I'm looking to downgrade my accomodations and save some cash for later. In two days I've spent nearly $170 (a week's budget). But that's because I'm staying at a $50/night hotel. I'm looking to bump down to $15/night and still have AC and maybe even functioning running water this time!
