Okay, so the updates have been few and far between/ non-existant. Sorry, once again. This last week was especially rough. I just turned in a 10-page literature critique, I took a test, and gave a presentation on a book I read...now that that is over...more or less, I have one more 10-page paper (I have not even started researching...) and another shorter final paper. We have 1 more week of classes and then 2 last days, then a 5 day break before finals. Our last week is finals...and on Friday the 15th I am on my way home!
Although I still love it here, I am ready to go home. Right around Christmas time, I started missing home, family, friends, and Portland.
I am trying to take advantage of my last time here by walking around the city more and doing more toursity things. This weekend, my best friend from school, Miss Marion Evans (for those of you who know her...) and some of her friends, including Christina Najjar...are here for the weekend. They are all doing Semester at Sea and they ported in Cádiz on Thanksgiving and they took a train here and have been with me all weekend. It has been a lot of fun so far. We had a good dinner on Thanksgiving anf then I showed them a taste of the night life here. Marion's friends are going to Granada today so tonight I am staying a the hostal with Marion and we are just going to hang out tomorrow and then she will take a bus to Cádiz by herself to meet back up with her group.
We went to a Flamenco show last night which was really cool. The dancing was amazing...their feet move so fast! Before that we went to a cute little tapas place and had wine and tapas...in true Sevilla form. Today I am going to show them the Cathedral, Alcazar Garden and La Giralda. So we are off but I promise to be better on the update front.
