Cusco Open 06

Between 19-22nd October 06 was the Cusco Open, a paragliding competition held in the Sacred Valley, Cusco. There were around 50 pilots from all over the world and . . . there was a chica from WALES . . . ME! Cusco is a hard place to fly, mountains and thermals, but I loved every second of it! I was flying with some top pilots and they were all so encouraging, some really amazing pilots. I didn´t enter the comp, it was hardcore flying, but I spent the week flying and learning with them. The take off ramp was amazing, above a little village, beautiful. Flying by day and partying with great friends in the nights, a great experience! Made even better by the amount of pilots that went from Lima, great to fly somewhere new with a bunch of friends! I have some great photos of our time there, enjoy! xXx
