I’ve very excited that the internet is back, and working better than ever! It was almost two weeks without internet....I was missing it!
Things are going really good. Classes are running well, the Hope House kids are as wonderful as they’ve ever been. I had Christella and Lumaine up on Saturday afternoon for lunch and a movie. I’m trying to bring kids up every week or so, it’s so cute how excited they get about coming up to Canaan (that what they call the building up here where we live. They will eventually be living up here, it’s their “promised land”)
The littlest kids are so funny, they’re starting to mix a few English words in with their Creole. Stevenson, my youngest student, always says “Tomorrow!” when we’re leaving the Hope House, meaning “see you tomorrow” he hasn’t mastered the see you part of the sentence, but he is only 2 and a half!
Life is good. I best go eat some lunch before class this afternoon!
