Well what a first week! Landed in Bangkok safely and spent two days doing the tourist spots. Trialled several modes of transport and yes, a tuk-tuk did take us to both a tailors and jewellery factory:) Visited the Grand Palace and standing Buddha which were both stunning sites. Enjoying the thai cuisine, in particular Singha!!
Flew down to Phuket and we are currently staying in Chalong. Have a bungalow in a lovely resort, where our hosts are very welcoming. We are now halfway through our PADI and it is one of the most amazing experiences to date! Love it!! Have visited nearby towns of Patong, Phuket Town, Karon and Kata...definately making the most of our little time here.
Next stop is ?? Thinking of heading to Phi-Phi next but the great thing is we can do whatever! Have just over a week left in Thailand before flying out to New Zealand.
