Finally, the day arrived, and after a few hiccups, reached New Delhi, my first destination. Great to meet my Sister and Brother and the family, as well as old friends, and spend some quality time with them. Sleeping late and getting up late, spending time in coffee shops (drinking coffee only, this is not AMS) etc. A complete change from the working life in Holland. Takes a bit getting used to, but one gets used to this really soon. Delhi is a good starting point for my travels to the Far East.
Had a couple of friends Ellen and Sonja visit me from Holland. They are off to Haridwar and Rishikesh, while I make the preparations for my trip to Jaiselmer in Rajesthan for a few days on camel safari through the SAM desert. Jan joins me soon. Fun!!
