Wow! I have grown respect for travellers that have gone on buses for months. I have spent the last 30 hours on one of the smallest seats invented and was overcome with joy when I reached Newcastle to meet up with my local friend from canada, Krista, again. The bus pulled up to the downtown station early friday morning and it was a hot, sunny day just like the rest of the days I have been here Down Under.

I had a little time to kill because Krista had just arrived back from Canada so I decided to..Surprise Surprise.. Walk around town with my huge Backpack and carry on. Of course it sounded like a good idea in my head at first, but after a huge climb up a downtown hill and the blistering heat beating down on me, it soon turned into a bad BAD idea.

After about an hour of walking with a sore back and feet that were killing me, I jumped on a train to meet up with Krista in here suburban area just out of town. As I rode on this train, I told myself to get use to this if I planned on Travelling around Europe in the next couple of years. NO MORE TRAVELLING!! I just want to get there with no sore back, sore necks, no sleep and endless hours on a bus, plane or scooter! BAH!

Krista picked me up and showed me her pad that she had moved into with Pete , her boyfriend. It was a nice little place and by the way she talking , it has seen its fair share of parties.

I had a great time with her again, meeting her friends and having a good Aussie time watching Footy and having a couple of drinks. I had a blast.

Im heading off to Sydney tommorrow to end my trip with a great concert. I can't wait for it. Get Ready, Here comes some great pics!
