Main news at the moment is that on Fri really early in the morning, Alex and Fredy left for Quito. Alex said, "oh, come with us," and I was like, "I have classes tomorrow." "Oh, it doesn´t matter, just come." Managed to convince him I couldn´t! When got back Friday morning at like 1.30am, suddenly had the idea that since Steph was going to Quito on Sat morning, as she´s leaving for England on Tuesday, could go with her and see Alex and Fredy.
Last night was Steph´s last in Tena. Romiro, a friend, organised a little private concert for us in his house with his Kichwa musical group. Our first Ecuadorian house party! So we were dancing, listening etc. until about 11 and then headed off to Yage and Gallera. Since Alex wasn´t there, had to suffer dancing with a lot of drunken creeps- thank goodness Franky (his older brother) and Richard were there to rescue me!! Seems the only non-creeps in town are our friends! Told Richard and Franky that I was going to Quito on Sat to see Steph and the former threatened to tell Alex as a joke, but thankfully didn´t, so it could be a surprise!!
It certainly was for him, and he couldn´t stop laughing for ages at the shock! Steph had phoned earlier from the hostal to arange to meet with the boys and said she had a very pretty friend with her- ie me! Just met up with the boys and are in internet cafe as Fredy has work to be getting on with- he and Alex are here on business mainly.
Tonight, we´re going out, then Steph´s off to Otavalo for the day whilst I´ll be hanging out with Alex and Fredy before catching the bus back to Tena in the afternoon.
