Met Jen Adams at the airport upon arrival and immediately also ran into McDow's friend Ryan, who picked us up and was our host for our few days in the city. Since we arrived late and were fairly knackered, we just got take-away at a small Italian restaurant in Stockbridge (the area of Edinburgh where Ryan’s flat is) and headed to bed on the first night, so as not to wear ourselves out.
