Spent a couple of nights in a nice hotel called Haveli guest house, Travelled up here with Phil again.

Nearly got ripped off again, but this time we were too clever for the theiving little fellas. Te rickshaw driver was adamant (not Adam Ant, that would be too wierd even for India) that the Havalee Guest Palace was the one we were looking for so he took us there. When we pursuaded him to take us to the right one it turned out that he would have got 250 rupees comission had we booked into the wrong guest house. Cheeky beggar.

Anyway, spent the evening watching England get stuffed by India in the cricket, much to the amusement of all the indians sat with us. Me and Phil got really drunk, on the 8% beer again, baz had a couple of cokes.

The following morning felt as rough as a buzzards crutch, but it didn't stop us going round the big fort that looms over the city. Quite interesting really, but not the sort of thing you need to do with a banging head.

Next entry: He's a ninestone cowboy
