The day football stopped

I experienced the largest Earthquake Hawaii has ever had. It registered as a 6.7 (for all of you unintelligent folks out there, that translates to REALLY REALLY big). The Earthquake actually hit north of the big island (the only island actually named Hawaii). It hit around 7 am. I was wide awake because I set my alarm clock to get up and watch football (because i am cool like that). I was surprisingly calm during the quake. Hindsight 20/20 i should have left my home and got to higher ground, but I guess I felt like lying on my couch. Of course, 5 minutes later the power went out. It didnt come back on until 18 hours later. So we played cards and horseshoes...and made Greg paddle out to a buoy about a half mile into the bay dressed as a girl because Travis beat him in horseshoes. Pictures will come next.

I had a good time with Greg being here. We basically spent every afternoon at a beach and every night at a bar. We rented kiyaks and took it out into the bay...yes, the same bay that is the top breeding grounds for Hammerhead sharks. Didn't see one, though. Oh well.

Back to work and it is crazy busy. I guess that's what happens when you take a week off of work.

Not too much more to report. I cannot believe how late in the year it is already. Time flies.
