Yesterday, we all- minus Pato and Fernando- met up at 3 for Steph´s birthday, after having slept pretty much all morning!! We went down to the river for- believe it or not- Claire´s first time of going in the water. Diego and Alex brought along a kayak from Diego´s water sports company and we watched them going about in it (was asked if wanted a go to which I replied, no of course!!). Alex gathered a little fan club on the shore- loads of boys were watching him with such admiration!
Now supposedly this was the main reason for bringing along the kayak, but it soon became apparent that Alex really wanted it for another reason- to use as a spade!! He stood there on the beach digging a long thin hole and we were looking with curiosity and worry, thinking he was going to try and bury at least one of us in it. We were right of course! Birthday girl and Diego were the first ones in, followed by members of Alex´s fan club and then it was my turn. By the time it came to Alex, we decided to do a little sculture and turn him into a mermaid. Deary me, it was so fun, we were playing like niños!!
SO that was pretty much yesterday- I figured out I was only up for about 10 hours hence the lack of any real activity besides those 4 hours!
