I travelled to Dublin with my friend Adam, and we had almost no money. I had just gotten back to England from South Africa and didn't have a bank card due to the fact that someone in England had charged $2,500 worth of bollocks while I was out of country. We bought a bunch of booze from the base shoppette and gathered what money we could get our hands on, which wasn't much. We first checked out the Guiness factory. Not only was there free guiness afterwards, you could drink it in a bar that overlooked the whole city!! Amazing. Later that night we sat in our hostel and got completely mashed on rum and coke while we talked to our travelling Polish roomate. We taught him key phrases in English like "this is fucking bullshit dude!!" We then went down town to Temple Bar and I ended up doing well with a French lady. Who would've thought?
