Bigger than Xmas, halloween and Flag Day...combined!!!!

You guessed it!!! ELECTION time!!! When you think about all of the ways politicians campaign, the list is endless, right? Whether it's flyers, commercials, telephone calls, debates, buttons (god i love buttons), etc... politicians will stop just short of tattoo'ing their name on their babies forheads to get elected. But, you mainland politicians got it all wrong. Hawaiian politicians have figured it out. They have a full-proof was of getting their name out there, without actually sharing their views at all!!!

Wherever you go on the island, there are people on the sides of the roads waving. I know, i know...genius, right? They stand next to a certain candidates sign and wave. Now I want you think about this for a minute. It makes perfect sense. Why do we need to know how a candidate feels, say on abortion? If you put things into perspective, their beliefs and platforms are mundane and, frankly unimportant, details. What the people need to know is if you are able to stand on the side of the road, hours on end, with a smile on your face and that hand waving.

You mainland politicians need to learn a thing or two from these innovators. Take, for instance, the last presidential campaign. Kerry wasted his time trying to show where he stood on the issues, as well as flaunting his 87 purple heart medals. Now, if he loaded up the major roads in the country with wavers, imagine how differently things would have played out.
