First Log in the new Journal, thought it best to start fresh because... well i can! Florence is beautiful or should i say Firenze, my head is thrashed with Italian, trying my best to pick up as much as possible ASAP so it will help me find a job! i'm on a right mission at the moment to find a flat and a job because otherwise the great british pound is gonna disappear sharpish!

Anyway, first impressions of Firenze is good, even though i did have a bit of a problem at the train station where i walked round a corner to find two blokes at it if you get what i mean... i just politely said 'Mi Dispiace' and walked back in the opposite direction, i think i just put the Sh#*! up them really! not quite the right phrase to use but i like it!

After that little experience Saturday was a little stressful as i couldn't find a hostel, first time in ages i didn't book a hostel as well, ended up in quiet an expensive little number but you have to treat yourself sometimes, met some good folks so far so been just chilling with them, went to a random live gig in a piazza on Sunday which was a little random, the group were a cross between, madness, the cure and franz ferdinand! strange i tell thee! The lead guitarist looked like someone that i used to work with (for all readers at NASS when i get photo on, Guess who?!). Last night got cooked a seafood meal, which was the shizznee, exactly what i needed!

The weather is ridiculous at the moment for the middle of september, it's factor 12 all the way, the old mercury meter is still hitting around 30! Happy Day's, if i didn't have to look for a flat and a job, i'd be soaking up some phat ray's!

Last thing to report on Florence so far is that the place is plagued with Yanks, they are over the shop!
