Our flight to Tokyo was gross. 6 hours and not used to flying wasnt a pretty mix even without crying babies and a weird big english family surrounding us. Had beef strog & mash potato for lunch & some other scary plane food that we decided was best left on the tray.
We landed at Narrita at 5.10pm and were in our room at the hotel by about 6. Got on a shuttle to the Aeon shopping mall at 7.15 & tried to order dinner (not so easy when you cant read the signs) but pretty much everywhere (including Mcdonalds & Baskin Robins) had plastic displays of what the meals looked like so we ended up pretty well fed.
Went to a japanese game arcade that was HUGE and got photo booth photos that you edit before you print (there were about 10 booths to choose from - some had green screens & stairs so you could do flying pictures) and then looked around for a while and got back to the hotel at about 10.30.
Slept thru our alarm the next morning but woke up in time to STUFF ourselves at the hotels FREE buffet breakfast - and it was deinatly buffet, everything from toast, bacon & eggs to miso soup, dumplings, rice & noodles to pasta & hot chips to weird jap tyle fish food.
Then got on shuttle ay 10am to fly to London!!! ......
