Smithy is my name and hiking is my game... well kind of!! Overcast day in general with limited sun but decided to take my slf up the mountain in my high perfomance Adidas Shell tops... well to be honest walkd about 20 yrds up and jumped on the cable cart up the mountain... for a quid return it's ude not too! when i got up to the top though, i got the most amazing fews! you can see the whole of Brasov, once again like most eastern europea countries it has it's communist sections, so horrible to see, concete heaven it's like being back at UEA!
Anyway amazing view, well worth going up, chilled with a history lecturer from birmingham, he filled me in with a lot of info on Romanian history which was a bonus and he bought me a coffee... schweet!
Got back to the hostel after mission around the city and cooked myself soem fodder!
Then then the evening came, got chatting and decided to go out for a beer... easily the cheapest pub so far on my trip! 36p a pint! happy fecking days! very random place... it was an underground drinking den for local Brasovians! 2 yanks, a kiwi and myself fitted in a treat!! mmm!
Apart from that just chilled in hostel with another 2 litre bottle of beer, i was DJ in the hostel tonight so played some phat beats... Defo goig to a castle tomorrow!
One thing i have realised since i have been away is how good the music scene is in England... we play and everyone else follows! Rock on!
