Last night, as I was wearing my camping headlamp around the warehouse (the power was out) I discovered that the roof was leaking over Sarah's bed. That was the third time that has happened. (Maybe you should move your bed, sis). It made me happy to realize that I am soon moving, although only to a somewhat drier place. I like Ketchikan well enough, but can't say that I will have a hard time leaving.
I'm arriving in Bellingham the 15th, and am staying there for about a week with Allison and Nik. I'm hoping to see a lot of people (hint, hint, clear your schedules, everyone). I'll also head back to my hometown. During that time, I'll continue my job and house-hunting. Shortly thereafter, I'm moving to Seattle. I'm hoping to find an interesting job that gives me plenty of time to go have other adventures. Or, an uninteresting job that I can quit without remorse, to go do fun things (like taking a trip to Mexico).
In the mean time, I'm still enjoying waitressing at Annabelle's, am e-mailing and calling Matt to the point where I think he might regret knowing me, and am anticipating a welcome visit from Mom. She's coming up this weekend to hang out, and explore our air mattress way of life. (We're down to two).
Off to work!
