Hi

Sorry about the delay in the update, but not much new has been going on over the past couple of weeks to justify an update.

After Leaving the Cameron Highlands I took a short trip to Penang (where I was going to update from) but found the place so boring that I could not find anything decent to write about.

A few days later I crossed the border back into Thailand. First Stop was Bangkok where I met a couple of Scottish guys who were also traveling solo, they both had only a few days left before they went back home and they wanted some sun. I suggested Hua Hin, where I have been before and loved it, and the next day we where there eating food on the beach before rocking with the young locals in the nightclub.

After going back to Bangkok I had to apply for my Vietnamese visa, which I had to wait around six days for... which was a pain in the butt, as the embassy holds the passport for the 6 days and you cant check into any hotels/hostels in Thailand with showing your passport. So I was stuck in Bangkok the entire time playing arcade games and bumming around. But did manage to find time to go the the massive reclining golden Buddha.

When I finally got my Visa, I traveled with a art teacher from London called Kate into Cambodia. I was a hellish journey, at one point a soldier cam on the bus and started checking I.D.'s of random people before ordering them of the bus, worst thing is this happened on the Thai side of the border.

I got ripped of at the border by the Visa officials, seems that every tourist does, and then finally got on a bus heading for Siem Riep. I was told that the journey would take 4-5 hours on a really bumpy road, but it took over 8, and my ass had lost all feeling by the time we arrived.

Next stop Is Agkor Wat and its surrounding temples, supposedly the jewel of Cambodia, so important that its even on their flag.

Will Update soon. And enjoy the pics!
