Tomato face

When I was in Miami with Mauricio once I naturally stood out as the gringa in the crowd. I did so even more after getting a sunburn which promptly generated the nickname "tomatico".

Well, tomatico strikes again. Elisa & I woke up around 10a.m. to a BEAUTIFUL sunny and hot day! So we gathered our stuff and made our way to her house which is right next to the water. We spent the day laying on the dock, hopping in and out of the FREEZING water and picnicking on the dock. We had a great day. I came home around 5 p.m. with glow in the dark face. But, no worries, it's the first real sunning I have done this summer.

Today I have to get my life in order for the week to come. I need to do my laundry, clean my apartment, drag some stuff up to the attic and even go to the office to pick up passports for 3 au pairs who didn't get their visas in time from the Embassy. We had to pick them up at the Embassy after yelling at them and now I have to drag myself out to the Airport at 4:30 tomorrow morning. UGH. So, today will probably not be as fun as the past couple of days have been, but at least I have some color!
