Up at 5 to get Bus to Lithuania, took 4 hours but felt like Ten as the driver decided to take every back road possible! settled into Hostel which was much nicer than Riga and went for a mission round city, found out it was going to be the capital of Culture 2009, year after the Scousers have the thrown, a lot of construction taking place so would be interesting to see it when it is finished! Went round to see some sights, highlight being the tower, where you can see the whole city, after a bit of walking Tom and I decided that a few beers were in order, so had a few Lithuanian Lagers with a Lithuanian Vodka Chaser! One problem found so far is that there are no Maynard Wine Gums anywhere and that Milk is hard to distingish, had some sour yogurt number... hell it was minging! few beers in the evening and to bed for 2! Long Day!
