Roma

We had a lovely 2 nights and one day in Rome - saw the Colosseum at night with a full moon; and then the Vatican & St. Peter's Basilica by day. Quite amazing to see these ancient & historic things you always read about in textbooks. We can't say enough good things about the food here - fresh and truly Italian! The weather has also been lovely, warm in the sun but cool at night. Off to Florence by train tomorrow!
