Hey guys and girls,
Just wanted to say that I am safe and sound in Austria and having an absolute blast!!! I met two guys at my hostel last night, Barnaby and Ben, and we spent the whole day hiking the mountains. It was amazing. Kind of cloudy, so we couldn't see too much the whole morning, but in the afternoon everything cleared up and had good visibility. Then we decided to visit the ice caves in the middle of the mountain, and it got down to a chilling 35-40 degrees! The tour guide had to lend me his jacket, since I was in a sweatshirt and shorts. haha. The boys are amazed at my German, so it's fun to be around them. We might go to the Lake District tomorrow. They're headed there anyways, and I wouldn't mind tagging along. :) I guess that's a good quick update. Austria is beautiful and wonderful and clean and safe... LOVE IT.
