Woke up with one thing on my mind, sand, sun and beer! I was heading to Jurmala! Had my first cold shower of the trip in my Midget shower... hell, started chatting to a guy from Newcastle called Tom while packing speedo's who had the same idea so we went off together! stopped off at the market to pick up some fodder then headed for the train station... well! never seen trains like it! Virgin Pendolino but 2 times the size, it's not as if it was 2 levels, wish i'd got a picture! On arrival found Jurmala had a similar lay out to an old western set, but all the buildings were either bright pink, green or blue! Funny! Got to beach, had a sandwich, slapped on some suncream and just as i was finishing my application boom! the clouds opened... feck! for the rest of the afternoon i sat with Tom and chatted about how good Manchester was! Other highlights of the day were... Latvian Candy Floss! YYEESS!! Booked bus trip to Lithuania also!
