We caught a short flight to Yogyakarta! We got into the city very early in the morning and got to out hotel, the Queen of the South! We got a rental car, but there's no actual road that leads to the hotel itself so we had to walk. We got two little cottages there, which had great views of the gardens and the ocean!
We got settled in and then went to the place that I've always wanted to go: Borobodur! Borobodur is the biggest Buddhist temple in the world! Leading all the way to the top are panels that show a life lesson on each one. Just plan gorgeous!! We spent hours there just staring!
We got back the cottage and went to the Parang Kencona restaurant for lunch!
Afterwards we went to Candi Mendat, which is also a Buddhist Temple.
For the rest of the day we just hung out in our cottage, went to the gardens and played on the beach! Today we went to Prambana temple. It was the place where the capitol of the kingdom of Kratan Boka once stood! We then just went shopping and were lazy the rest of the day!
