Not a lot of goings on since I last wrote.
It was a great, rain-free weekend:
- Awesome chicken quesidillas on Friday night
- Two great runs on my favorite path in town
- Blueberry Arts Festival (battle of bands, slug races, arts and crafts, spelling bee, 5K, etc.) My friend won 2nd place in the blueberry food contest, she made blueberry salsa.
- Trip to the KTN Airport to pick up 12 cruise guests all from NW Chicago...Midwest represent
- Watching the salmon return to the creek to spawn...we saw hundreds of them over the course of minutes trying so hard to push up stream. It was awesome. After they spawn, they die and dead fish are already starting to appear along the creek. In a few weeks (after I'm gone)...this town will reek
- Today I busted out rain pants and jacket - first time all summer. It's pouring outside, ewww.
