Day 1/2
Arrived into the country of Latvia at about Midnight... good call smythe! missioned around for about half hour to find hostel (Map from Work, came in use a treat!) Got into bed about 1, got myself tucked up in bed to recover from the Liverpool escapades! woke up about 11, had shower not the best th handle that holds the shower head was at my waist so perfect for someone who's 3 ft tall, went on a bit of a mission to see the town ,ended up doing a lot more walking than i should have, really need to sort out the map reading skills! Highlight of the day was going to the market, supposed to be one of the biggest in europe, the 5 building used to be Zeppelin Hangers... fecking massive, each one was at least the a football pitch and a half, so you can guess there was a lot of fodder on show, plus a number of awful fashion accessories!! Amber Alert Amber Alert... think i might be seeign quite a lot of this stuff in the next few days! Overall quite a relaxed day, Latvian scally tried to pilf some money out of me by throwing pairs of jeans and t'shirts at me but i was having none of it! sampled the latvian local Brew 'Zelta' squid a pint, strength of Stella but takes amazing! think i might be sampling quite a few of them!
