Rostock and friends!

Hey again. I am becoming profecient at using a keyboard with the Y and Z in each others place. Cool.

Rostock is an peaceful, clean, port town in North Germany. I came here last year for a school trip. I was lucky enough to stay with Jule and Stefan back then and I am even luckier to get to see them now(and I hope it's not the last time). They are the best hosts and they have amazing friends. Thanks guys, I had more fun than you know!!

I have been here for the last 4 days. I have had so much fun relaxing with other students, taking a break from traveling. I even got a "european but not too European" haircut. The look works here, but I don't know how long it will stay when I return. I think I decreased in sexiness because the Stylist looked suprised when I asked for a haircut and said shaggy hair is popular in Germany(this was translated to me by Jule)

I have also played Yard games, BBQed, Disc golfed, ropes courses, basketball, and of course Beaches. The Baltic Sea is beautiful. The sand at the beach is the finest sand I have seen all trip. It is very soft and very sticky...but gorgeous.

Last night, 4 of us guys tried to go out downtown. We walked to Stephan's car which was tightly parallel parked between 2 other cars. One nice car and one not. We carefully pulled out of the spot, when 2 guys began talking to us from their window. Each was the owner of the cars. I am told in Germany that owners are very, very, ridiculously paticular(isn't that what bumpers are for?) about knicks and scratches. I think they were waiting for us. Both men said there car was hit by our VW van. We tried assuring them it was not, we looked with flashlights, we reasoned with bumper heigth but to no avail. The police had to be called. To make a short story long, 2 of us walked to the bar. Interesting experience...ridiculous experience... but "blogworthy" nonetheless.

Check this sweet sweet action out: There is a 15€ overnight ferry that will take me to Sweeden from Rostock. I will spend a day and a half there, then go to Copenhagen. From then on, I will work my way back to Belgium for my flight.

I am looking forward to seeing all you guys in a week or so.
