Postcard Beach

2006-06-03, Nha Trang, Vietnam

We spent 3 nights at the nice town of Nha Trang - sort of like the Gold Coast but much smaller and Vietnamese. Hamish got to make some use of his diving ticket while I explored with my goggles and snorkle. Had some awesome food (again) and also an afternoon with an easy-rider, who took us out to a beautiful waterful and saw a salt farm. Hamish had the extreme pleasure of driving a manual motorbike for the first time, in rush hour traffic and on the highway with trucks and buses tearing past with their horns blasting as they constantly do. He was a nervous wreck by the time we got back. Nha Trang beach is really nice, cleanish, nice place to soak up some sun and do little else. Little did we know that we were about to go to our favourite destination next.
