Its that every time of year where we celebrate the birthday of the person we have respect most and adore.... His Majesty the Sultan, Sultan of Negara Brunei Darussalam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.

Many may not realized it but I feel that i am most lucky to be part of his kingdom. Him and His people has been so kind and wonderful towards my past 12 years of residing here in Brunei. Plus, I had the opportunity to celebrate His birthday every year at His palace morning events and dinner events! Who can have that....! Gawd! I am lucky indeed....

Started off with the march off and assembly of military of men and women to commemorate His birthday in a very high respectful protocol. Then continued on at the palace where He is ajoined with His Royal family entourage to celebrate with His VVIP invited guest and of course His relatives and high ranked Government Officials. And we all are wearing Black attire (National Dress and Lounge Suits)

The night falls and all dressed in white. The glittery and accesorised women in full white with the men suited in humble white with Songkok (Hat liked) had brigthen up the Palace. As the Royal Entourage marched into the Majestic Dinner Hall, the ceremony begun with Ochestral background. The food was hmmm... nothing in the restaurant menu.... crafted carefully that is fitted for a king... and we all had it!

The night was over with the limelight of fireworks! And as the fireworks ends, thats where the fairy tale ends everything was back to normal for me...... and till the next 15th July....

Where Dreams Are Felt!!
