Hello all.
I had my pics ready to upload and the computer had problems. Believe me, they are some great pics.
We have had relaxing, and also strenous days here in Gimmelwald. Yesterday we hikded to the top of a mountain called Schilthorn, where "Her Majesty and the Secret Service" was filmed. It was a horribly cloudy day to go, but we left at 5 am, and were one of the few to actually get a view. We walked all the way up and all the way down. A feat done by few. The cheap few. Gondola rides are very expensive.
We fished today. I think it's a scam and the locals take the "fishing" money at the end of the year and laugh over a beer about the nieve tourists who try to catch fish. At least I have a souvinier....a swiss fishing liscence.
I will be checking out castles and medievil villages for the next 4 days. After that, I will spend an undeteremined amount of time with my friends in Rostock. August 8th is 2 weeks away.
I refuse to update again unless I see some activity on my guestbook. Seriously.
This place has been beautiful. I bought a big chunk of Swiss cheese today. Take care, I miss you all.
