Hey all!

Lot's has happened since my last email!

We drove up the coast from Montego Bay to Negril. The first night we drove up to the sea cliffs, to Rick's Place, one of the 'ten most famous bars in the world', where there is cliff diving right from the bar! I wanted to jump but the 40 foot drop was a little much haha. Some of the locals climbed a tree and dove over 90 feet!!! I went out to a Reggae beach party that night and heard some awesome local music and got yelled at by jamaicans whenever white girls talked to me haha. Some jamaican girls came up and asked me 'ya wannnnnta fuck a jamaican, monnnnn?' hahaha.

Day two in Negril we drove down to Savannah-del-Mar, and then up through the sugarcane to the cockpit mountains. After about 670 hairpin single lane corners on roads falling off mountainsideds, we made it to the Mayfield falls, a little piece of heaven up in the mountians, where our guide took us for an hour up fall after fall after fall, and there were little 'jacuzzis' of water between the rocks. Fantastic...and refreshing! We drove out and took the road to the North coast to get back, where we lost our brakes after a million steep corners...I had to throw it in first gear and roll out haha. Poor little Hyundai Altos...what a silly car!

Fresh fruit, lizards, and hustlers everywhere in Jamaica! We pick mangos off trees in the streets and eat them!

The second night in Negril we stayed at the Coral Sea Cliffs resort, perched up over the coral cliffs with a view to die for and a pool right on the edge!! We went out to a huge Reggae party called Roots Bamboo with a canadian woman we met who now lives here...got a real feel for the 'local flava'. Ate jerk chicken out of an oil barrel heh heh.

After Negril, we headed alllll the way to Ocho Rios and stayed the night. For Jamaica's #2 tourist destination, it blew. The saving grace was the incredible drive the next morning up 'Fern Gully', a mountain watershed where you drive under ferns that cover the road. After that we drove to Port Antonio, where we are now, and sucked up some rays at 'Boston Bay', the most famous surfing spot in Jamaica, and after that, 'Long Bay', the most beautiful beach I've ever seen in my life, where we splashed in monstrous waves and saw loads of rastafarians chillin on the beach. Port Antonio is my favourite spot yet!

Today, we'll hit Frenchman's Cove beach, which is supposed to be incredible, then drive up the Blue Mountain road (6000 feet up!) and over to Kingston, the capital...from there we head to Mandeville and stay the night. Tomorrow morning we will drive back to Montego Bay and hit 'Doctor's Cave' beach one more time for a couple more hour before catching our flight.

All is well, all is beautiful!!! Reggae, Lizards, Jerk Chicken, Mountains, Fruit, cheap Rum and Red Stripe beer, Crazy Rastafarians, and Incredible beaches and heat pretty much sum it up!

Love all!
Daniel
