Heroine of the washroom!

2006-07-19, Comox, Canada

Bernadette saved two fellow campers that were trapped in the campsite washroom.....a 'Dune Bug' had them cornered and was moving in for the kill as they cowered in a corner of the showers. A 'Dune Bug' is like a huge beetle, with a colourful covering on its back, and huge horns on its head. It has large hairy legs that stick out at right angles. It runs fast, and it can fly, it actually resembles a flying cockroach. It also hisses loudly and likes to hang around in washrooms. It takes a determined stamp with decent shoes on to put one out of action, seeing the helpless women cornered, Bernadette rendered the beast blind by dropping some toilet paper over it, picked it up and threw it out the door. Wont mess with her again, she was in and out of the shower before the women were able to speak, still traumatised.
