Well, yesterday things looked really promising. Things change though. It's kind of funny. Anyway, the job we had fell through. Don't worry though, there is a chance the girls will be able to sell nail products with an American woman and go to conventions and such around the island...heh, Adonnis is jealous. However, Adonnis and I might have something lined up with this woman's husband selling cars or something. This is too odd.
In 3 days we will have an addition to the crew when Bethany arrives. This may make things in the appartment a bit cramped since we only have 2 single beds and 2 mats. Oh well, we'll think of something.
So last night we were bored and Adonnis wanted to go on an adventure and roped us into walking down this dark street that had a bunch of abandoned water towers. They made me go first into this dark alley to get to the stairs up. I walked up the winding steps on the side of this 70 foot tall water tower as our hearts were pounding. We got up and the stars were amazing. This thing was old and the railing had huge rust chunks breaking off as we leaned on it. We stayed up there for a while and I scared everyone a few times when I threw rust chips down so they clanked on the stairs as if someone was coming up in the darkness. Then we started hearing noises that no one was making coming from down below. As they grew we decided to leave and just as we started going down the steps there was this loud crashing sound that lasted for about 5 seconds. To me it sounded like it was coming from inside the water tank which was empty. Our hearts raced as we gunned it carefully down the wobbly steps to the darkness below, emerging into the street where Agela felt Elaine's heart and Adonnis and I gave eachother a High-5. We've decided that from now on we need more adventure like that to get our blood going...and there are plenty of old run down buildings within walking distance. Then Adonnis and I walked down to a small park that he was too scared to go to alone and sat talking till 5am.
We had 2 of our friends that we've been hanging out with over for dinner last night. We had a great time cooking dinner and having dessert with them.
What else? Umm...well we all have new names after finding out what they are in Greek...they are as follows:
David's middle name is Anthony, which in Greek is Adonnis.
Keia's actual name is Keiangela and Angela in Greek is Agela.
Christina's middle name is Elaine and we pronounce it Elaney. My middle name is Nicholas which translates to Nikos.
Alright
