I finally got to sleep in for the first time in days; I spent most of the day loading up photos on the internet. For dinner Alex made polish pancakes that are less fluffy and doughier than ours, and instead of syrup she made a mixture of cheese, sugar, and cinnamon that she put on the pancakes. They were really good but like most polish food, greasy and unhealthy (how do polish people survive on vodka and grease?) after dinner the game the whole world had been waiting for, for a month began. The FIFA world cup title game between Italy and France began at 8. After a long tough game that included vicious cheap shots and even a great head-butt, Italy won in overtime penalty shots.
