After a wonderful nights sleep and big sleep in. We moved Riads (because ours was booked up) to another about 100mtrs away.
We spent the morning once again checking out the fish markets, which was a hive of activity, resteraunt owners and locals alike all buying their days supply of fish.
We had ambitions for this afternoon!! To walk the 3kms along the beach to a village where Jimi Hendrix lived. As we had totally moved into relaxed holiday mode, our walking speed had reached an average of about 1 km an hour, just fast enough that we werent actually standing still!!
We started on our mission, only to make it about 500mtrs down the beach, wooed by a sidewalk cafe selling Heineken!! So there we sat, watching the world pass us by, sipping on our beer! (Just as well, we later found that it was more of a 10k walk than 3!!!!)
For the rest of the afternoon we alternated drinking tea and chatting in Abdos shop, and shopping in the souqs!! I tell you, I could totally fill a container with shopping from here!!! After much restraint and loads of fun bartering we were shopped out!!
We sat on the medina wall and watched the sunset before making our way back to the shop to share pizza with our friends.
Later that night we returned to the bar from the previous nite to met up with the English girls and also with the 2 poles that we had met on our Sahara trip!
Entertained by berber music, and low and behold a random outburst of BAG PIPES!!!! Once again a perfect day!
